23 July: Jose Mourinho, the manager of Fenerbahce, gave an exclusive interview to Portuguese channel 11.

Have there been any players who have had a real conflict with you?

The players who had a conflict with me were all the best. was never one of those, it's said, who went and 'crushed' the weak. When I was strong, that's the kind of atmosphere it was.
Normally, the players who are up there, the ones who are a little higher than the others, are not only big players. They are also big personalities, with a of pride, but also with a lot of reality.

It was always like this. In this regard, my favourite players are Drogba, John Terry... won't say the players from Porto, because they get jealous, they send me messages. Maicon, Zanetti...

Will you still pay attention the players who don't play in a certain match, as you used to?

It's something you have to do... and the players who play are in recovery mode. Lately, at least for me, we tried to improve the recovery training and integrate it into the tactical training.

Low intensity, lots of rest.. but we also tried to introduce some tactical content. The players who don't play can't just be with the assistant coach, because the assistant coach has to be on field.

Which team did you leave the biggest impression on?

I think my Porto is remembered. I think the Chelsea I took is the best in the history the Premier League, even if the first Chelsea is already 20 years old.

Arsenal was once invincible, but that was just for one season. were more invincible than them for two seasons. They won 38 games, we won 46.

But those 46 wins were spread over two. They were a dream team, and we didn't win the Champions League because there was no goal-line technology at the time.

Inter won everything. But, example, Rome, gave me great joy. I don't want to say we made a delicious omelette without eggs; that would be too disrespectful to my fans, winning the Europa League, even if it's just the Europa League, and reaching the Europa League final in the midst of so many difficulties... for me it was one of the most beautiful things.

I succeeded in uniting a club that was not united and in taking on board those fans who had 'escaped' We reached the final twice, and both times Rome was empty, which pleased me especially.

At Fenerbahce... the first year was like discovering a world. Not even my posts on Instagram, which are a little mysterious or ironic, have made people realise this. Today, let's see if my experience can help me prepare for the new season.
